Inspired by Edward Okun's symbolist masterpiece "The War and Us" (1917-23). Published by muse exclusively for the exhibition "Silent Rebels. Polish Symbolism around 1900" in the Kunsthalle Munich.
Okuń's large-scale painting is as complex as it is magnificent. Dragons or snakes with glowing butterfly wings surround the young couple.
Textile designer Antje Rauner did the work brilliantly for us. Produced in Italy on Lake Como.
